Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

JOE WHITE SEEMS TO THINK 20,000 EMPLOYEES WERE SUPPORTING HIM..

Latest Employee Communication from Joe shows that he is truly out of touch with the reality of screwed up organization.. Patting himself on the back for helping to restructure halfway to a $400,000 annual savings goal.. Says company is "moving in the right direction" despite no honest changes with broken processes across the board - no mention of any focus on the losers in key management positions that are STILL HERE that have contributed to this mess.. Reads like something a politician would write knowing that it is all lies but still thinks you'll believe it..

Joe, we have NOT made meaningful progress. The company is fraught with horrible managers and most, if not all ground-level employees have ALREADY QUIT WORKING HERE, they just haven't left yet.. Get it? You had a duty to implement change that we could believe in. You and other responsible for this have failed miserably. Molina Healthcare is the laughing stock of the managed care industry.. Don't pretend we're fools and don't know the facts. SAD.

Agree. Some great long term employees were let go while leaving some non performers running the show, so sad. Most of my staff has resigned leaving no one to complete the work. I'm looking at signing up with Covered CA and most certainly will NOT be looking at Molina for coverage.

I'm so glad you are hanging in there with the morale. You should be 62 and looking for a job after 12 years with Molina. I'm getting very frustrated with the $15.50 offers I'm receiving. Why were we not told we could apply for unemployment from day one? I waited until last week knowing the severance was ready to run out! Now I'm told I could have applied 9/15/17!!! A select few were told by their VP, but not mine. They do not retro! Yes, I'm bitter!

For someone who is supposed to be our financial Guy... I think Joe has dug us a little deeper. Our over paid New CEO cannot dig out... but he has nothing to worry about. He is set even if Molina makes it or fails. Dr Molina must be rolling over in his grave. ....so sad.

Well, if you listened to the investor call yesterday you’d also be surprised to learn that he feels morale at Molina is really high right now.... I almost wrote him a nice note about that. I’m hanging in there with all these changes and losing colleagues and uncertainty about my future here and the general future of Molina, but even with my unbridled reputation for optimism I’m finding the idea that Molina employees level of morale is high—well it would be an understatement to say it’s just untrue.
