Someone said the PHC’s would be a small group going forward. Looks like they were correct. And another round predicted in early 2018.

That’s the ten million dollar question.
PHC’s remaining - what will we actually be doing in January if members do not have this benefit?
Thank you, poster. Would “who” be whole remaining telephonic organization? It makes sense. The proof is on the plans.
@Q2gnxzD-1hwo Do you know this for a fact or just your educated guess?
Look at your team calendar. You will see the who is blocked out for a "meeting" . The structure of HAH will not be the same. The division is at its end. 2018 plans do not include coaching from a telephonic standpoint. The pendulum has moved to a new direction. It is clear Humana needs a team to hold fast until 2018. Come 2018.. the new HAH will be in force and open enrollment numbers will be available. Be smart. Plan ahead. Get your resumes ready if you are still employed by the sinking ship. Word is "HAH is expired." Be in control of your future and find a new company. Empower yourselves! Don't play victim, make the most of it and take for what it is worth. Business. Business as usual for a insurance giant. But for us who are impacted or will soon be in 2018... prevail and be strong!
7 were impacted on my team.
When “100” was posting - and everything that poster predicted come to fruition- they said November and again February or March I believe.
Probably same time of year as round one from this year.
Do we know that there is another round come in 2018? I know that no one from leadership will address what's up with the plans showing the members don't have coverage. Are they weeding it down to nothing?
Unfortunately, many phc’s were recently assured they are safe. My coach said that after a meeting the coaches had with JR, they were convinced the program had the number of phc’s it needed as we move toward 2.0, not too many phc’s, no need for cuts.
1shp- being told you were getting a raise should have tipped you off that you were being flat a** lied to. No one gets a raise in 2018. Some people.will get a bonus in jan. But no one gets a raise.
@Q2gnxzD-1upm This isn't right. I was told by someone impacted last time round that they were told it's up to them if they want to tell the rest of the team. The coach won't tell you but the impacted can.
Sorry to hear more lay offs...they give you a rational that there was no rhyme or reason for who gets lay off..bull..ppl with over 6 years of service get lay off while those there one year or so stay..
The coach is asked a series of questions about each employee and submits it...
I am a PHC I was told in previous meetings that I was safe and was expecting a raise at the first of the year. I got the email today which means I was not safe and I won't be getting a raise...really not sure what to think about this but I will land on my feet. Keep your head up and start looking for other employment is my advice to any who read this.
Well said, poster below.
I don't think most people are trying to "stick it to HR" by talking about their layoff notices. I believe they are hurt and feeling isolated and need to be heard. I'll never forget a comment from an impacted coworker earlier this year, she dared to comment in the team chat "I feel invisible." I felt ashamed because we were all told to respect the privacy of those impacted and not reach out to them. And I'm sure they were advised not to talk about it. How cruel to isolate people like that!
Should say “it’s not like we won’t notice....” sorry.
PHC, they said after the last layoffs that they hire an outside consultanting firm that looks at a variety of factors to come up with the list
Well it’s not looking me we won’t notice half of our team and our coach gone...
HR desperately wants to keep these layoffs a secret by intimidating those affected into staying silent. Why in the world would anyone stay silent? They're about to lose their job anyway. What better way to stick it to HR than by telling the world about the layoffs?
PHC here. Got the invite too. Wish they would tell us how they choose. I participate in all kinds of extras, have seriously never called off (been here less than 2yrs) and always get better than 90s on audits. I guess I’m relieved it’s over. The stress here is almost unimaginable, but I wish they could at least say how those chosen are picked. Best of wishes to all the impacted. Better things to come.
It backfires and a site like this becomes crazy active as a result.
HR tells people not to say anything about the meeting but all that does is cause isolation. People need support and have a right to seek it from their friends/coworkers.
Chat, IM, text....
How do you know how many in your teams got one?
I am a PHC and did not get the meeting invite from HR for tomorrow but I know of 5 PHCs on my team who did. Most are glad it's over and they know for sure that they're laid off now. The rest of us are left to wait and see. Thanks again to leader JR, who made no promises in last meeting but still insisted that all the numbers were right in PHC world and we should not worry. Wrong again, man.
got mine and heard of 9 others too
I got it but my friend did not. I’m okay with this but just wish I hadn’t been fed the “PHC’s are safe” and “HAH has been decimated enough” BS.
I don’t know which leader decided that it was a proper message to send, but it was repeated, and it was a lie.
3 phcs from my team got a confidential invite for a meeting tomorrow. So much for a warning.
PHC...Got it! What does it mean if you got it?
None for me
No invite yet
I actually posted that a couple week ago and got ripped for not giving more info. I did not want to give my identity away.
Not for me, but 3 on my team got the invite.
no invite here.
Not yet. Phc here
