After the restructure of operations 2 year ago in the field and headquarters Frito-Lay lost millions of $in productivity, as well as conversion. Frito-Lay lay managers ,are out of touch and not held accountable for the losses. Frito-Lay is in free fall. Perfect time for lay offs. Those managers, vps and directors need to go.

I had to retire do to the management problem. I was there for 22 yrs.,watching it go down each year. When we went with PepsiCo, was when the employees were left out. But management filled there pockets from our sweet and blood. The bonus that upper management got could have been put towards better healthcare, working invorment and to the needs of the local community.
Cannot argue with that. Indra has used productivity as a means to maintain profit rather than taking steps to grow the business. We all recognize you can only sell so many snacks before the market is saturated. It's time for an acquisition if we want to continue down the path of driving profitability by productivity. Otherwise, FIRE INDRA and get a real CEO. Someone who knows how to drive true performance.
They're playing games and trying to make a smokescreen. Each quarter when earnings are announced FL management sends out a short email showing three numbers Net Revenue Growth, Core Constant Currency Operating Profit and Organic Volume growth. This email for Q3 came out last Wednesday and only showed the first two numbers, there was nothing for Organic Volume growth, it was blank ??? In Q1 they reported negative volume growth, and zero growth in Q2 and now in Q3 they report nothing ? Why is this ? did they just forget to post the number ? or was it so bad they didn't want to report it ? Despite what they reported for Q3, things aren't good. Why have they stopped all spending and cut or pushed all these 2018 projects out to 2019 ?? It seems that their "strategy" of showing positive numbers is based on increasing prices on shrinking volume, which is completely unsustainable.
There will absolutely be layoffs at FL HQ, unfortunately. Some say November, some say Q1, but trust me it’ll happen.
Well FLNA must be doing something right because that division helped the 3qrtr earnings. So doubt there will be layoffs there.
The whole business model itself is rotten. Do-nothing managers who think they're bioengineering a miracle that will prolong life and cure cancer strut the hallways, when they would do everyone a service by going out and getting trained in a skill, any skill, that would even marginally help anyone. Presently they're just taking up space and wasting time while taking money from the lower level workers who are the people moving the company. The company is based on mass producing crap that causes atherosclerosis, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and a whole host of metabolic disorders, as is Pepsi itself. The world would be a better place if the company just went away, overnight.
