#FakeNews or should I say (WFM CEO)- ever hear of Google? Or does Amazon no longer allow access to it? Better than trolling Wild Oats trying to get a better stock price- then buy it and almost bankrupt the company! Then can't figure out how to lower prices- I used to thing you were intelligent but now I just think you are crazy!!
I never said that Whole Foods wouldn't fail. Although I doubt it will "fail" with amazon as a parent company. My post was more about choosing your attitude.
Of course we would all like several months notice if there were planned layoffs, and the company has given several months notice in the past. That said, at the end of the day we we have to be prepared for whatever might happen. Being angry in the meantime isn't going to solve anything.
I agree there seems to be one maybe more posters that seem to want revenge but then again..you that is happy at wfm is in here too...a layoff board.
I think somewhere in the middle of crash and burn and all good bc deep pocket Amazon is going to bail us out is the soon to be truth.
Amazon didn't dump cash on us to continue to dump. They want profit just as bad as we want jobs. Maybe even worse. How that will affect us is still tbd but I for one would like to see it coming if at all possible. That's why I'm here putting up with the wfm is going fail bs and YOUR bs that it won't.
why is everyone so angry on here? If you don’t like working for Whole Foods, there are other retailers out there. Not everyone is going to fit at Whole Foods so if you don’t feel fulfilled, find your path! Or maybe people like wallowing in misery?
