310 is only the tip of the iceberg. There are more sites than San Jose dropping bodies! Cisco is just not obliged to report them to the respective States.
There’s a lot of dead weight in Cisco. Too many “wfh” employees, which basically means “I’m being paid to do anything but work.” Some of my favorite reasons, “it’s raining, I need to wfh.” “My mother in law’s dog is sick, I need to wfh.” My absolute favorite was, “My mom died.” But that was used the year before. Is dear ol’ Ma a zombie? If she died in the east coast, why is there pics of you on Facebook in Tahoe. When we brought it to management’s attention, they did nothing. Dead weight needs culling. If it’s a good person, there is a better life after P!sco!
Got the date wrong - he was actually notified on 9/26, yesterday. Final termination date is 10/26/17. He was a software engineer.

Cisco actually cut over 740 jobs yesterday, 9/27/17. My husband was one of them.
