Not sure where all this post about layoffs are coming from cause in the Kentucky market seems we are all still running strong and no one has been laid off, the Lexington market has numerous techs and at one time they said we had to many but opened more positions, but no layoffs has came this way and I believe this site is a hoax, someone stirring up a mess, if y'all was worried about anything I'd be worried about windstream creating positions like the station installers so they can't cut the cst for a cheaper wage, the stocks dropped out so windstream is gonna be looking for more ways to cut I see that but why start a big fairy tale over layoffs when there really ain't none happening around here just saying, every since I fount this site I was on it daily tring to stay up to date with info but none of this has played out in front of me so I'm just going about my daily activities and If it happens it happens, but I'm no longer worrying about my job I was looking for a job when I got hired here and it won't hurt to look if I do get laid off , sorry for my rant just had to get this off my chest, cause this site has stressed me out bout worrying about my job and nothing has took place in ky , and ky is the worst place for broadband service anyhow you would think it all would have started here before anywhere

You are a complete moron if you think there were no layoffs. Nearly 700 people have lost their jobs since July. Just because it has not happenwd in your area, yet, doesn't make it less true.
I was laid of in 2012 from the Alpharetta, GA location. So sad this is still going on. Do yourself a favor guys - update your resumes.

I was laid off in July, in Twinsburg. Not a hoax.
there was just many more lost their job last week!! Im with the ohio dude, i just want to be able to quit worrying that when i come in im not gonna be sent home!! It seems that we have to loose our Heritage Windstream folks to make room for other companies we have bought out. Promised contracts maybe?? who knows, i dont even know who we are anymore, or what set of standards we follow! it seems to me that if we are buying other companies, we must be doing something right. But at the same time, why would you change the way you do business to another companies ways if they were going the wrong way and had to sell out.
I know of two that got laid off in Lexington Market a Sales Engineer,and one CLEC Tech. I think he will be missed, he knew the KDL fiber routes that the ILEC does not work on.
I guess the guy in Kentucky is too busy with work to attend the all-hands calls from Thursday, Friday, or Monday.

The layoffs are real, you dipsh1t. Maybe Lexington hasn't been targeted because everyone has forgotten about it...hence why it hasn't been upgraded and there is no redundancy in that market. IP Eng prob doesn't even give a fug about you bc they are hoping to get the word to route around you.
Stop speaking with your 5th grade opinion and at least join the f*cking all hands on deck calls and you'll hear first hand from the SVP's and EVP's as they try to sell the koolaid of how great these layoffs are going to make the company...along with SDWAN and UCaaS. I hope all the circle jerkwrs who buy into this crap and shovel it down to their reports lose their jobs. You know who you are. You're the people who don't think for yourselves.
