Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

It’s always someone else’s fault... blame managers, blame higher ups. Flat out people don’t want to work. They want to go to work and just collect a pay check. Not all of them. There are good ones far and few between that still believe in doing what is asked. Watch it continually. fortunately those that work get the hours unfortunately that means we have to listen to a lot of moaning as we pick up the slack of those that don’t want to work or break our backs while to get the job done because someone wants to sit around all day. It also saddens me when people throw around Mr Sam’s name or say he rolling in his grave.

It’s not sacrificing it’s workers. Workers do not want to adapt to change. Machines don’t say no....

The answer to all that is poor leadership and lack of vision. And now to try to turn the ship around, Sam's and Walmart is sacrificing its workers.

He would be wondering why we are just now changing... wondering why we let amazon pass us up. Wondering why Costco is used against us. Wondering why you don’t support change. If you read anything at all on Sam Walton then you read that he was an innovator, embraced change, swam upstream. This is retail. Not a a job to make millions. Live within your means and it’s great money.

Now go get that Sam Walton book and start studying up... you need it.

This in-fighting does nobody any good. The reality is that nobody in the clubs outside of the club manager makes good money. And even the home office associates have been hit hard. Layoffs and demotions. It's been pretty constant in small groups for two years now.

You should support each other. As long as you are scrambling over who is the house slave and who is the field slave, nobody will be free. You're all still slaves.
