I'll believe it when I see it. It will be 2019 or beyond before we see major layoffs.
HR already multiple lists and criteria for 5K, 10K, 15K as well as project driven cuts of various levels and the required criteria.
The packages are minimal this time, plan accordingly 🤔😉
The final scenarios are dependent on x86 contraction and server growth and need to protect margins based on 10nm impact to bottom line. Those in TMG can do the math based on ISO and cost and depreciation as to is the one billion or five billions in cuts. But must protect the business class travel and hundreds of million as Olympic sponsorship as those are strategic.
