I also just got informal confirmation of an October ECA reorg. Apparently this is all because of the upcoming departure of HD to SFDC or MSFT. RG then feels he can clean house and have one of his IBM or HP yes-men run this group. It means lots of bloodshed in the RL, AL, EU, and LW groups including management consolidation and movement of 30%+ of the positions to the Austin and Boulder child care centers. To avoid the term layoff, the jobs will be moved to these centers and re-leveled to IC2, IC3 positions. Timing looks like before end of October and should happen after those massive Q1 bonuses hit.

I heard HD on a call once. It was no longer about listening to the customer, learning about their problems, and coming up with solutions that made sense. He wanted ECAs to just tell customer that this is what you do. No questions asked. If you can't just tell them to buy cloud then you are no good to him. Good riddance.
HD is one of the best empire builders I've ever seen in a corporate environment. His reign has come to an end as his org is shrinking. Why have enterprise architects when there are no new Oracle projects?
Sending HD to competitors is LE's evil plans for screwing them up, he'll send MH next and if that doesn't work SC and her penny wise and pound foolish spreadsheets. That should do it, just look at oracle

These guys calling for senseless ECA ceritifications and hiring hiring college kids under HJ (Hamza??) to replace good ECA's.
People at SFDC and MSFT would NOT want to work for HD. He's almost as bad as MH.
If HD was going to any of these places he wouldn't be in the role as he would be gone. If he is still there, then this rumor is untrue.
