Does anyone know about Cloud Architects/SE layoffs after oow ? My manager says a re-org being planned

One of the great innovations that will come out of Oracle is the Oracle Sales Robot. It will use machine learning and artificial intelligence to sell to people. They can program it or it can just learn on its own. No need to hire expensive developers.
Oracle will also sell the customers and prospects a cloud service that will take these calls and can resist the calls of these Sales Robots. The customer could also look at buying Watson from IBM. Whoever has the smartest program wins. This way you won't need sales people or people to sell to. The robots just take care of everything including negotiations. You can't lose with this approach.
Don't worry, Oracle already build a High School in front of Redwood Shore HQ ( SC's pet project) to train minimum wage future employees for cost reduction.
What is an NCG? New College Grads? Why not hire high school dropouts? They would probably save a ton and only have to pay minimum wage.
From the top, Oracle wants to use NCGs to replace more mature sales folks. Oracle seems to be restructuring compensation and bonuses for most of sales if you make it after OOW. That comes from a reliable source.
Yes most if not all of SC and SR will be gone.
Customers are not using free OPC cloud credits for on-premise sales. Cloud architecture demo is more vaporware and BMC is just nothing but slide deck.
@mkm ah, trying to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs... or pays the bills.
I'd say there will be a massive layoff of sales SCs and SRs, my manager has told me that most if not all on premise sales people will be gone in two months.
