Oracle won't be able to compete

Starting next month, customers will be able to pay by the second instead of by the hour, Amazon Web Services said in a blog post on Monday.

market cap of Top 3 cloud providers

amazon - ~$480B

microsoft -~$580B

google - ~$650B

most probably by end of this year , even small guy SAP ( ~$130B) will overtake oracle (~$200B) in market cap.

no wonder oracle is clearly in panic mode and cooking up funny cloud revenues and doing massive layoffs to avoid sliding stock price!

If you think those ancient on promise produces are nothing but making money for BMC to burn. That is shame on who hired you.

Your bashing Oracle as many as these threads do, yet your so hurt that they fired you guys! If oracle s---s so much, then why are you so upset?

Outside of Netsuite, which they will ruin,

The cloud product are terrible or they don't exist at all. Maybe there is a working beta but they have a long way to go. They will need catch Amazon.

Does oracle have any viable IaaS at all ? They are still scratching the surface of bare-metal and got nothing.
