Rumor: 50% of CGG's seismic imaging centres is going to be closed 3-6 month from now!!!
Do you mind me asking where this rumor came from, @P16TPyA-jhqs? I have been hearing talks about specific seismic imaging centers being in line for reductions, but I never heard or read anything that would indicate it reaching a 50% scale.
Rumors are like ripples in a cornfield. They are ephemeral, but they do indicate which way the wind is blowing.
Hey, can we keep these posts so that they are just from folk that know what the hell they are talking about? Gossip and rumor bring no value and are upsetting to a workforce already anxious.
I'd also like to know which centres have been closed, anyone know of any ?
Not sure how many centres are left? Many small centres have already been closed.
