These are the layoffs from last week. Molina gave 60 days pay in lieu of warning (per the WARN act), meaning that even though the layoffs were effective immediately and people were walked out, the staff who were laid off are still on payroll until November. The layoffs may not be over, but this notice is referring to the layoffs that just happened, not new layoffs.
The people who were laid off last week, their lay offs were effective immediately. I think these are new lay offs. I suspected they were going to do this, they just didn't want to give the local governments/media a really large number.
Nov 15th is the date when all those that were given notice of layoff last week becomes effective. October must be the date for first layoff group.
Last week after the layoffs on Thursday our department had a staff meeting explaining the restructuring. We were told we were safe.Did all departments have this?
The nurse advice line is still intact
Just saw this as well. It's already a ghost town in LB Headquarters. Who's left to cut?
