This Chapter 11, Not Chapter 7. They are not going away (yet). What will happen is they will go through the Holiday's with ALL stores open and then they will look at under-performing stores and possibly close them in 2018. The 2.2 billion Debt gets called in at the end of 2018, which will be the final nail in the coffin. It's more of a wait and see.
Lets not forget those who were just laid off this year, affected by it, emotionally, physically and disrespected by this company who had no compassion for its hard dedicated workers who to worked them selves to death because these stores did not staff the floors. Only cared about metrics and not the employees. Who were lied to, befriended, lead on & taken advantage of. Let's us not forget those who they let go, in general. Let "US" not be forgotten, because without "US" there would be no "US."
Yet another retailer bites the dust. Retail employs millions in America alone, this crash is no small thing. When 5 million people lose their job, 5 million people stop paying their bills.
When 5 million people stop paying their bills, the economy is in deep, deep trouble
