Why is Humana at Home hiring PHCs when there was just a layoff?

The role posted was for the type of coach available to employees, not HAH.
I was wondering the same thing. It looks like they are within HAH as well. I am guessing lower pay since a degree is listed as desirable but not a requirement.
Agreed poster below. That's why I stick with my spouse's company's plan. Deductibles are way too high with Humana.
To the poster commenting on insurance premiums for employees: Actually, our insurance premiums are not high at all. They are lowest monthly premiums I have ever paid for health, dental and vision care insurance. But, the deductibles are another matter entirely, those are very high! However, in this day and age you can't avoid high deductible health plans. The days of low deductible health plans are long gone because the focus now is on prevention and avoiding health care expenses for sickness or injury. I'm sure glad my car and home insurance don't work that way; I rely on those to be there when something breaks down.
I feel the HCM position will become a contractual position. Most of the FCM's are contracted workers
These are contracted positions... most of time as I applied and got calls back. No benefits.
They probably are hiring at lower pay rate ....cutting salaries while increasing the cost of our insurance premiums. Pathetic we work for an insurance company and our premiums are so high. Should be very low seeing as we work for the darn place
Maybe that's one of the positions that the PHCs can apply for, legally, under the EOC, it has to be posted
I just don't understand why..why lay people off if you are going to post a job for the same position you laid off for
It looks like a PHC position with one of the HSO Regions. That's different than HAH.
Looks like it is for people with a social work degree?
Care manager/health coordinator work at home 181172.
I only see a position posted for an office based, not WAH, social worker. Perhaps I am missing something.
Wow maybe that will be a good opportunity for those that were laid off. Best of luck!
