Can someone answer how they notify you? I heard some people were notified by phone. I'm not sure if they were all remote/absent. Even if they were, it sounds inhumane. Cannot say that I'm surprised, though.

So was today the last layoff, because my department was told 9/15 was the layoff day, but they laid off some people today?
Received a phone call and told my position was eliminated. The leaders were professional, concise, and straight to the point. - MHI HCS
My post got deleted so I'll post again... I received a call from the leadership team that are all friends. They did not layoff any of their friends. They were unapologetic unprofessional to say the least. I worked hard and they didn't care and dismissed me like I was trash. -WI
Pretty sh--ty. Gave BS corporate talk about making decisions so we're stronger coming out of it, but yet they eliminated the best Directors and kept Directors that everyone in the room knows doesn't do anything.
Only rationale is that they looked only at salary and cut those making the most, regardless of work performance.
Same here, I am in New Mexico. I got an invitation to go into a meeting, about 15 minutes before the meeting started.
Once we were inside, we all got laid off.
After all these years here, all what it took was a few minutes to ruin all of it.
In NM got invite, met with new AVP (been there like 2 months)..
I got an email and had to go to the meeting room right away. I'm in NM. Oh well. Good luck to everyone.
In LB they were called into a conference room. Also rumor is certain people knew who was going to laid off WEEKS in advance.
In SC we received a meeting invite ten minutes before the meeting was to start.
in Long Beach.. remote worker, manager called me to tell me position has been eliminated per project nickels
In NM we got a web ex meeting with about 15 people that were all told they were getting fired!!! Got the invite 15 minutes before the start of the meeting. Way to make you feel like a number.
In NM the Plan COO called them on the phone for a meeting in person.
