Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Financial Impacts

It's not just Molina that lays off.

A lot of healthcare facilities are also laying off employees, insurance companies and hospitals ...this is because of the uncertainty of ACA.

Obamacare also gained money because people had to buy insurance so more got covered...more got treatment --primary care---so it benefited pts, doctors, facilities and insurance companies even.

But with the 20 million hanging in the balance and these are only the people with pre existing conditions --I think--imagine how many more loss it's gonna be...

Seriously? I would think this blog would support each other, not take it out on each other.

You tell them that you need to find a new job? I really don't understand why you're trying to shield your children from a normal experience. If you were laid off, you should be receiving severance which should be more than enough to get you going to find a new position. This isn't news, and the layoffs are not coming as a surprise. You should have already been looking.

We were told it was because of Obamacare or the Affordable Care act that Molina was in financial trouble. Government subsidies were not paid as promised and that Molina was in debt. While the future of ACA is uncertain those debts should have been paid for prior years
