Mattel has always been shady. Goes back to the founders. The Handlers got pushed out of the company they started from illegal activity. That place is a magnet for that sort of thing. And for the age discrimination case, which employee sued for that? There are so many that have a case

There was a Age discrimination case a few weeks ago. Former employee won, I believe.

Age discrimination - note how all the LinkedIn postings only feature interns (not even employees) with their doe-eyed innocence and naïve perceptions? Yeah - that's what's going to build a strong company - a bunch of 20 somethings who don't know how to balance a bank account but can master Candy Crush.

There is so much illegal activities going on in this company, they have had job postings for Attorneys outside of Mattel. They are very specific about what qualifications Mattel is requiring. I know for a fact Hr has had more then one serious complaint from employees in the last month, about all the illegal activities. There is multiple and serious violations that have been brought to their recent attention, and they did nothing. They know there is so much shady and illegal activities going on that have been swept under the rug, they are setting themselves up for a major lawsuit. Instead of hiring new lawyers outside of Mattel try dealing with the management that have lots of documentation regarding their illegal activies, and stop covering for them.

It's funny how we have to take a new Compliance Training course 3-4 times a year. Everything from insider trading, conflict of intrest, harassment, best practices...the list goes on. Everytime i take this courses, I can refer to at least one example of when someone currently in the company violates these 'rules'.THese are prime examples of 'do what i say and not what i do'. most everyone in the compnay knows these things are going on, yet the criminals are rewarded with promotions. Good job, HR!
