Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

I know field personel in the Bakken are extremely understaffed. I would imagine it's similar elsewhere? To layoff more people who actually work would be crazy but without a doubt we still have plenty of management overhang. Do you think this next round will actually help alleviate some of the top heavy structure in lower 48, or will It be another round of management saving their hides by claiming cost savings on the backs of the workers?

Isn't there a "field" office in Billings? It would be a great start if some of them actually went to the field to work, instead of just sitting at a desk all day. How worthless must you be if the D&C org had to take over your pulling units!?!?!?!

RL already said the field was properly staffed. Ahead of there peers, you have nothing to worry about.
