I just heard Space people are in the red for the year and are planning a week of no pay around thanksgiving - is this true?

No furlough in Clearwater - confirmed by Sr Technical Manager
Hey 1dii - Space consists of Glendale, Plymouth, Clearwater Space and COM DEV. The only part that could possibly be divested from the rest of Space is Plymouth and COM DEV in Garden Grove that has 80 employees. Do not make it sound as if sometihing else is going to happen. Don't ask me how I know. Thanks.
Tim the Baloney will still get bonuses year after year ..... "relative"
All companies are cutting ESPN AOL YAHOO Boeing Banner to improve bottom line and look good to their investors. It’s disgusting #CorporateGreed
Honeywell has cut to the bone. Now they are cutting the bone.
It’s not a rumor.
It was a rumor, but it is not going to happen. Space has cut so many people in preparation of selling parts of it. Any additional savings are no savings at all - they will probably announce a divestment of legacy space around Q2 of 2018. Don't ask me how I know. ;-)
There may not be any furloughs in 2017 but they are planning major layoffs March 2018 in Aero.
In space no one can hear you scream.
Lies
Ironically, this was not mentioned in the Aerospace Q3 telecon. They made it sound like everything is rosy all around....ugh. Any workers (not management) even left in Space? I thought last RIF decimated the working population.
@PWHBrtB-qfq tell that to the previous furloughs that space went through. I personally haven't heard anything, but regarding the "revenue based on billable hours"... that doesn't include indirect folks...so, the furlough could still be a thing.
Unlikely. Space makes revenue based on billable hours. A furlough would actually make things worse revenue wise.
