Thread regarding Chicago Bridge & Iron layoffs

The woodlands office is bleak

If things fail to improve I plan to leave the company. I came here several years ago with the intent of building a lifelong career with a company that seemed to care for its employees. This is why I chose this company over several other larger competitors. However I have not seen this to be true. The new leaders seem to be oblivious to how low morale is within the office here in the woodlands. I hope this is temporary, as this is not the way I envisioned cbi to be.

At least the people who got let go earlier received their severence. If it goes under will the court allow severance to be paid for the people left here?

If things fail to improve the decision to leave will be taken out of your hands. It's okay, we all pretend to have control over our own lives. It keeps us sane, or pacifies us so we stay put as tiny expendable cogs in a great big machine until we can make someone else more money by being unceremoniously shoved out the door by a cop who rides a Harley. Or as I call him the pig on the hog. Or just pig/hog.

I know he's around when I see the garbage pales on G filled with empty doughnut boxes.

Does he walk like that because he thinks he's a prison guard or because he has adenoids?

CB&I has gone down the tubes. They used to be a good company until their incompetent management raped the company. If I were you I would get out as soon as I can. It is eaiser to find a job while you have one. Trust me the company is unethical and does not have a clue what they are doing. It is a known fact.
