Saw some job postings for APTIM that say location is in Houston. I do a google search but only thing that comes out is Baton Rouge.

That's exactly right. The head of the Shaw Group in Baton Rouge moved to NY, changed his name to Ramzi Musallam, is now the head of private equity group Veritas Capital. Brilliant observation.
Isn’t APTIM owned by an investment firm led by the ex Shaw CEO? Check out the logo and see if it’s familiar...Hmmmmm...lol
Every epc co is in play now and many of our customers. If you want job stability, definitely get out of cbi. Maybe get out of epc. Cap services' owner is committed to developing the business. Better than they got at cbi for 3 years and more promising than the industry.
APTIM is hiring not laying off. APTIM is not headed for bankruptcy. I think I need to check out their jobs.

This here is exactly why I won't be applying. Looking back at their realized portfolio most are sold off within 5 years. Not sure I want to take that risk.
If you get an interview ask the question about plans to move to Baton Rouge. Worst case you don't like the answer and stay where you are. I'm guessing they aren't taking resumes from BR locals for jobs they are posting here so I'm guessing they stay here. But I also thought cbi was the most complete energy infrastructure company in the world. What do I know? Sh-- happens.
Maybe. But they are posting for full time positions here because there's enough APTIM management here that wants to stay here. It's like the woodlands being the admin center for Holland or Plainfield. There's no reason APTIM needs admin in Baton Rouge any more than NC or Dallas or NYC or anywhere else. There's no plan to consolidate offices in the near future. The owner will probably sell or ipo the company in 5 years.
They will move to Baton Rouge, the location there is temporary
... in the woodlands. At least that's their Administrative office. No APTIM name on the outside of the building. A couple of law firms in there.
