Laurens facility to be sold?

Surveying and inspections taking place at Laurens F&M facility too. Scheduled shutdown for March 2018. Appears due dilligence inspections prep for property sale!! Buyer waiting in wings...

Bumping this from @PoFe3n9-rdlp for info. Does anybody know more about this?

I know Plant manager in Laurens suddenly bailed for some reason. Corporate sent some mouthpiece and another flunky to close plant down.

You know where the door is. Use it. Walk out with your head up and your financial future already "RESET" before HR and the cop put a black sack over your head and throw you to the curb out front.

Not even Fab Services walks away from this one, unlike execs that got us to where we are now. There's not enough work available to keep all shops open. They are consolidating all thats left and shipping to Louisiana. Everything else is on auction block. What a waste.....Awesome losing your job just before Christmas, thanks CB&I👍

I've made better decisions under the influence. Horrible management with no oversight, and this is what you have left. Stick a fork in it...it's done😕.

Fab services (SPS) is the only business worth anything at CBI. Don't mix this with E&C.

Everything is up for sale. Tech is all but sold and the proceeds will go directly to paying off debt. After the tech sale there will still be no cash flow or capital to finance new projects. That is why every assets that can be sold will be sold. CB&I is done they will go back to being SPS construction co. There never were any smart people there.
