The information shared in this article, doesn't sound different from what is happening through out Molina. I cut and pasted the article below for everyone's convenience. The article states the Department of Workforce Development was given notice of Molina's intent to let 53 people go on December 15, 2017. That notification, I believe, is required by law. This sounds like the same 60 days the employees got in the first and second waves of lay offs. They let employees know that in 60 days, they would no longer be on payroll. Everyone has been given 60 day notice. This IS happening, across the board this far, at Molina. It would follow that everyone else who will be let go, will be given the same 60 day notice. Molina employees should have already begun planning for a new job. No need to wait for Molina to tell us that we have 60 days left, to know that it's coming. Molina leadership doesn't have to tell you much and they may not know much. Meanwhile, you can be proactive is learning what is happening at Molina on your own. It's all over this website and many other sources: Molina is preparing for a sale of it's members. If that isn't enough information for you to begin your job search now, that's totally up to you. Blaming Molina for not telling you in advance, makes no sense because you don't have to be in the dark AND Molina actually IS informing everyone that they have 60 days before they are off payroll. I'm not understanding the folks who feel like Wisconsin employees got notice that others won't get. Good luck to all! Keep taking care of your members if you are still there....until you aren't. Also, take care of you! Look for your next job now. No need to wait.
Can someone please explain what "Bumping Rights" are? And also what "rapid response services" are.
Thank you!
