I remember the forming of what was then "SPTVG", even then you could see Cisco were going to struggle to make this work. One of the Israeli teams came up with a song for the new department - it sounded like a funeral dirge! Looking back I think it was probably was written to be.
The (long since fired) VP was played this at an all hands, and tried to make it sound upbeat. I think even he knew the writing was on the wall.
