That NDA we were coerced into signing with our severance isn't worth the paper it's written on. They knew most of us live paycheck to paycheck and firing us without notice would leave us strapped, so they dangled their blood money in front of us to force us to sign our rights away. Sign or your children starve! My lawyer told me that making it conditional to receiving the money can be seen as extortion, especially by worker-friendly Portland juries.
Found this in another thread, I was wondering if this can be true? It would be nice to know. After the way Nike treated me after decades with the company, some payback would be nice.
