I wanted to ask you all present here - if you heard about any possible layoffs in Dallas.

Well we are at the end of road at Braselton Plant. Thanks to poor management we are closing down and I'm glad because I am tired of this company ruining my life with working every weekend and Holiday every year. The workers worked their a-- off to build this plant up to what it was as management never listened to the employees concerns and suggestions as how to better the production. Management who lies and belittles its employees will never stand. I remember one time a supervisor job came open on 2nd shift and we had 3 people who put in for it and each one had extended knowledge of the job and they gave the job to a transport driver who had no idea at all about the job. They said he (interviewed better than the other candidates). The people on the case dock didn't get a raise for 3 f------- years when everybody else got yearly raises and they expect us to give a damn!? The cooler superintendent we used to have used to stay in his office all the time so he could look at the white trash girl with her thong riding up out of her tight jeans all day. Hell we wouldn't see him for 3 weeks at a time sometime. I saw so many people here screwed out of jobs its pitiful. When they wanted a specific person for a position they would make it an (interview job). These are just the tip of the iceburg. No wonder this place is closing down. Gregg Ingles I hope you sleep well at night knowing how you screwed dean foods out of 6 million dollars a year and with your golden parachute while some of us never even got a raise. Damn I feel like I work at wal-mart.
it isn't a shock to me to hear that the Braselton plant is closing. this is the end result of poor management and people at that plant who were put in those positions and who have absolutely no idea what they're doing. it is no surprise to me that they're doing what they're doing now at the Braselton plant in the terms of trying to find things to fire people for because that's what they did to me and several other people. I hate to see good people there lose their jobs but karma is a b****
Same kind of a things happening on the West coast. If your male or female and over 60 watch out. They went the university of MSU and they know how to get you.
I’m in corporate office. High performers are being put on PIPs and then layed off. This way the co. Doesn’t have to pay severance. I myself hit all objectives, received a “needs improvement” with no back up and was told I was going on a PIP. Two months pass without a word when I hear there is no longer a need for the PIP. What???? I heard this from quite a few people. My interpretation is that they are getting ready for a mass layoff at corporate and again, don’t want to pay severance. Isn’t this illegal?
I was laid off/position eliminated in the Midwest region. Never called off, always took on special projects, received great reviews .....A person hired after me is still employed. I don’t get it. I haven’t heard specifically if there will be more cuts.
The rumors are 5 more plants closing this year. Lynn is loosing a million per month and will be closed or sold. I moved on before being fired or laid off. Dean had become the worst company ever
I work at the Braselton GA Plant (Mayfield). They are being very ugly to people now. They are trying to make people quit or try to find something to fire people for. They are trying to say that people aren't doing enough work on the Case Dock. They expect more work when they haven't given us a raise in 3 years. F--- them all!
I was laid off from Dean, I was taken out in August 17, more just were laid off Friday 2-23-18, this CEO has done nothing but run this company into the ground....Good People are being cut that added value everyday...Sad
