To the original poster: your willingness to be at the new manager's disposal is admirable. But you do not owe that to the company. Politely tell the new SM that he or she needs to contact someone working at HO or the RM for assistance. Follett doesn't deserve otherwise.

Since the company doesn't say it, I will. Thank you for your years of service and to the success of Follett over those 20 years. It is never easy, and we appreciate your dedication and commitment to servicing our students and schools. You are the primary point of contact between Follett and both our customers. We are sorry to see you leave as experienced labor is very difficult to find. Finding a replacement will be expensive to train.

If so much better off without me why does the store call me to ask how to do simple things like shipping web orders after 4 months. You must be low on the comprehension spectrum with the comment that I called whining and btching I never called the no help desk after the only 2 people who could help you left. So whom else would I whine too? New hires glad to see you know it all!

That good riddance comment sums up how the tower thinks of its stores and employees.

follett provides a toxic and abusive work environment. Staying is an act of self-betrayal.

Follett offers little training for new store managers, sometimes RMs are not helpful & if you don't know the right people at HO, good luck.

Thrown to the wolves! You are expected to do it all and still get eaten alive by the wolves who only look at paper!
