Today is 11/9. IT Restructuring implementation well underway. I'm close to IT recruiters who are placing contractors to fill in the gaps created by the layoffs. I strongly agree that IT will be outsourced and Molina sold. If you're you're still there, be smart and start looking. Good luck!

@PK5jQWH-4slu you are 100% correct, I think. Six month contracts to keep the lights on until acquisition occurs.
It is not like the company cares if knowledge is lost. They are switching their focus to bring lots of contractors on fixed 6 month contracts while letting experienced FTEs leave. When you put both together, you will see that they are just planning to keep the lights on for the next 6 months until they get sold.
No sign of layoffs, but IT middle managers and PM’s appear to be leaving on their own. Two announcements from two long time FTE’s today alone. Lots of history and knowledge walking out the door.

The entire IT department will be outsourced. All homegrown systems will be phased out and replaced by vendor hosted solutions. Contractors will roam free through the hallways and life as you know it will cease to exist.

Fwiw, heard rumblings from multiple sources something’s going down with IT next week. Doesn’t seem like a rumor to me.
