Stephenson was asked whether executives such as HBO CERichard Plepler should fear changes that could come down after AT&T (NYSE: T) completes its $85 billion deal to buy HBO’s parent. “What I’m most concerned about is that Richard Plepler and (Warner Bros. Entertainment Chairman) Kevin Tsujihara and their cultures will somehow infuse the telephone company’s culture and really screw it up in a big way, you know?” Stephenson said, to some laughter in the audience. “I lay awake at night worrying about that
After such comment Stephenson then took the question head on, saying that AT&T is “mindful that we’re buying a business that we don’t have a lot of experience in.” After all he Leads the company he just cleaned the toilet with..... how embarrassing!!!!!
