Citrix' core business is remote access.
I worked there eleven years before I was allowed to work a single minute from home.
That's not exactly eating your own dog food.

@PCmOmsD-txi same for me!
Let's be honest, you are a disposable work unit that corporations know performs better at a desk when not being distracted with life crap.
Many corporations are eliminating their work form home programs to work from office or find another employer.
The message is come to the office or go home and don't come back
Pretty much what @rnd said.
Corporations don't want your flexible schedule. They want your cheeks in a seat working hard for the block of time they're paying you for.
All you workers that take off to go take part in life disgust them and you will be replaced.
This is very true. Despite the whole "You can work from anywhere on any device" message we were selling customers, we could never work from home ourselves. After a long time pressuring management, we were able to get 1 day a week from home and we were supposed to be thankful for that.
I get more done working VO than I do in th office. I usually start earlier and finish later. All time I’d be sat in traffic on my commute to and from the office. I can also be flexible with my hours at home so logging into after hours meetings doesn’t mean losing too much of my free time. My entire team is in another country so being in my office makes no difference to my interactions with them
