Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Mistreatment of employees

JPMorgan's treatment of their employees is among the worst I have encountered in my over three-decades long career. Employees are being degraded and devalued by their managers continuously, with no real recourse (HR is a joke.) I have seen many good workers leave on their own just to leave the toxic and high-stress work environment. I would be surprised to hear JP needs layoffs simply because they are so good at letting people leave on their own, no compensation required. Frankly, if I wasn't this close to retiring, I'd be on my way out as well.

Well they are in process of another lay off on 10/26/17 and they hold you hostage and refuse to give you a date of departure! They said because of business needs. They want to use you so when people take leave from all the stress and holidays they want you to cover! WOSRT COMPANY!

I totally agree. I worked for JP Morgan Chase for 10 years. As they started switching up unqualified managers that they brought in from only God knows where. The site morale began to change for the worse. We started getting treated like juvenile delinquents instead of adults. There was no place for growth, instead they created jobs and brought in outside people to fill those positions instead of promoting the well qualified people that were already sitting before them. I said enough was enough. Finished school and left as soon as my maternity was over. I couldn't take the stress any longer. The only thing I miss about them is the health benefits.
