Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Does anyone trust Citrix exec management now

So it was clear DH lied straight faced to us when he said there would be no layoffs this year, less than three months later he authorizes huge layoffs that nobody knows the full extent of. Today Joren lied straight faced in Bangalore when he said there would be no December 2107 layoff.

PJ said the same thing in the Santa Clara townhall meeting today.

How can we trust anyone in Citrix Senior Executive management when they are proven as liars time and time again.

Why not just say layoffs will be a permanent part of Citrix culture till the company is packaged and sold.

Is this the way of Elliott management , lie, deceive , falsify and rewrite the truth in the company.

DH was the chosen one to fight the evil darkness, instead he turned on Citrix and became one of them.

What is the future for this once great company and its people??

When did Henshall say there would be no layoffs? I completely missed that...

The July press release had "layoff" written all over it, and I never heard anybody deny there would be layoffs. There was also an internal FAQ that acknowledged restructuring would occur.

https://www.citrix.com/news/announcements/jul-2017/board-changes.html

"In addition to product excellence and growth, Citrix is committed to operational efficiency and value creation. This includes a series of strategic initiatives intended to drive operating margin expansion, increase capital return and facilitate further investment in accelerating Citrix’s transformation to a cloud-based subscription business and in high-growth areas, such as data security and analytics services."

"The Board has also formed an Operations and Capital Committee that will work with Citrix’s management team and advise the Citrix Board on a comprehensive review of opportunities to drive margin expansion and return capital to shareholders. The Committee will be led by Citrix Executive Chairman, Robert Calderoni, joined by Citrix President and CEO, David Henshall, and Citrix Directors, Jesse Cohn and Peter J. Sacripanti."

This is new! The management has been lying for years! I was there in 2012 and ran across the biggest creeps I've ever met in business. Creepy creepertons! Creeped on their wives, creeped on their girlfriends, creeped on their employees. Lied to Wall Street constantly. It's nice you're woke now, but it's been years they've been lying, lying, lying!

I'm starting to believe KT would not be a puppet for EM and so was fired. EM probably demanded this 4Q layoff to lower costs, package the company and keep employees in line. He refused so they fired him and paid the $32M penalty to get a more compliant CEO that will to do EM's bidding.

A layoff of this size must have been in the works long before the DH coronation as CEO. He was straight faced lying in July and will be receiving his EM puppet compliance bonus in 4Q17.

Sad days for CTX ahead...

Henshall has only be CEO since July and on Oct 4 you get a huge layoff... You don't just throw this together overnight, even with Citrix becoming pros at doing layoffs. This has been his order of business.

How could anyone trust what executive management says anymore? DH lies to your face, doesn't acknowledge his deception, and executive management team follows along, willingly.

The future is to get laid off or leave. The company has come to realize the investment is in product not people, the people will continue to be casualties until there are no more.
