I left US Bank last year after I got fed up with reviews that are intentionally untrue to make sure you don't get a pay raise/promoted... Despite having a great sales quota and being praised for my work on daily bases, the review returned as "mediocre." Apparently, that's the standard for employees, and no matter how well you do, don't expect to see it reflected in the review... Not sure if this was my manager alone or if it's a company wide policy, but I'd had enough... If the pay was better I might have decided to ride it out, but it was simply not worth it anymore...

It sounds like your negative experience was solely your management, I would encourage you to keep U.S.Bank as a company- an option for you. It is a great company to work for, and unfortunately in any company, there can be a couple “bad apples”. Their reputation and the brand they are building will eventually catch up to them, but if you’re a good, hardworking employee- yours will catch up to you as well. Management sees a lot more than employees think, sometimes it’s hard to get rid of the toxicity- but they see the good that can sometimes be temporarily held back too!
Best company to work for! I should know after a 47 year career with them! Thank you U S Bank! 😀
I work here and have been with the company since Nov of 1999....... speaks for itself, to me.
I have to agree. As much as I wanted to like working here, they did not make it easy. Too much favoritism, and power trips.
