It's me 💯 it will be about the same groups of people as the last rounds. I've heard talk about fcm but absolutely nothing in stone just ideas being thrown around. Not rn or ss in the nov round maybe February depending on how end of year closes out.

100, what positions will be impacted by those layoffs?
If that's the real 💯thank you
Hope this is from the real 💯and not an imposter
November and February 💯
Well I guess 100 was right the whole time. Another round coming. Anyone recall when he/she said we would learn about it? 100?
I guess I'm glad they are at least not lying to us, we know to expect more and I guess we can intensify our job hunts now.
Okay, well that just cleared it up, yes more layoffs but the hope is to "minimize" it.
Let's see if they take any questions about the future ....
Op, considering they spent less than 2 minutes addressing this round of "impactions" during today's meeting, with no reassurance that this was over, I would put my money on another round in q 4. Plus, this meeting is all about celebrating how we can reduce the number of members we service (which I understand, financially, makes sense), but hooray, less work = less workers needed. Celebrate!
That was mean other poster. Don't be angry. Blessings to you!
Well actually I do have a masters in business...and nursing.
While they are taking business classes, maybe you can take a how-not-to-be-a-jerk-when-you-respond-to-a-post class.
For God's sake. The one time payments are company wide not HAH. Has zero to do with layoffs. Has to do with business financials. I suggest taking some business classes to better understand what is happening!
Whose getting a onetime payment rather than an increase?
I thought it interesting that for 2018 we are receiving a one time payment rather than a salary increase or raise. This may be ground work for more layoffs. A pay raise would increase the amount of severance paid. However a one time payment will not increase the base salary....or severance.
Yes I need to ask because the info on here, for the most part, has helped me just be informed and supported on how I feel. I hope tomorrow's meeting allows people to speak up about this.
They said they're going to be focusing on members needs in the home, at home, so that will replace a bunch of telephonic support...at home is reimbursed under Medicare, so look for hunana buying a home heaith agency
Probably. Look at what is happening. We are pulling out of the Healthcare Exchange, closing programs, not enrolling in others, and 3 layoffs already. Healthcare has changed over the years and is just not as profitable for some segments. It might be cheaper for us to just stop offering some of those reimbursable Medicare plans as a whole. Who knows, it might cost us more money to manage some of those members than Medicare reimburses. Plus you have salary of staff to manage those members. This could be in preparation of selling off parts of our segments, or even selling off the whole company. You never know what will happen and we will never be told until the last second.
All we are being told on my team and my friend's team is "no guarantees."
Mmm Mmm. Do you really need to ask that question??
