if you are management or sales with tenure and you're older than 60 or a female they will fire you!!! They just laid off several people in 3 states all over the age of 60 or female. This company is pathetic - they only give - 1 week per year of employment in in lump sum severance agreement if you agree not to sue them. Strongly advise people to band together and sue them over this blantant discrimination!!!! They think they are so big that they have their corporate legal team tell you to go ahead and sue them!! Terrible way to treat a long time valued employee for upper managements poor business decisions!!! FIre the CEO!!
I agree with you @OJtMkcs-lnot, but the issue is not that simple. Proving age discrimination can be really hard, which is why there are so few class action suits on that bases. Here's a goo darticle on it:

It does say that a lot of the companies will rather settle than go to court, so there is hope for some kind of a payout.
