As I have said repeatedly over the years, Granny has zero leadership skills. She also has zero vision of where things are going. She is good at financial hockus-pockus - layoff employees, sell parts of company, all for the benefit of her own bank account and her investor friends.
Yes, a company exists for the benefit of its shareholders, but the companies cannot grow without good employees, a plan for the future and good Leadership. Now Amazon, Microsoft and Google all have become bigger IT players with their Cloud offerings and here is Granny thinking about how many to layoff and what to sell next week.
