I guess one of the 5k can replace him.
The one BUR ME guy left was a worker bee. Keeping him for insurance if any I/O issues arise in M8. One other guy transferred out just before the layoff. So one left, one transferred, 37 RIF'ed.
Proportionally I think BUR was hit pretty hard. 38 of the 39 ME folks are gone. The platform teams are relative smaller than SCA and were also impacted back in January when S2 was shelved. BUR platform teams are still wrapping up the T8 systems, I'm sure there will be another round in 90 days or so that won't leave much behind.

I know of at least 12 on the SPARC system side. I suspect there's more. There was 2 that I know of in x86, but there may be more there as well.
