Dear peer forum - after 26 years my number was up today. I was not expecting such an end to an otherwise very rewarding and fulfiling career. Had hard time facing kids tonight, other than that I think I am in peace. So long Nike and let us see what tomorrow brings. Over and out!

I am sorry. Totally s---s. I think it's finally time for me to rollout on my own terms. Been there 20+ and what do I have maybe five years before they sweep out the line g terms again?
Sorry - I hope that you find something that fills your soul - I know so many people who have worked there for years and have given so much - it s---s what they are doing to all the long timers who were there in the beginning - keep your chin up and stay positive -
I was only here for a short time but laid off on Tuesday. I only got to hear about the good old days, never had a chance to experience them in my time. I do feel especially bad for the long term and loyal employees who were let go. That's got to be tough- for me...kind of a relief to be out of the sh-- show. Morale is at an all time low but, hey, give everyone who's left a pep talk in TWC and ask them to do more with less. What could go wrong?
I know what you mean. I had 23. I am sure we crossed paths at some point. Keep your head up.
