They don't hold group meetings to discuss "layoffs" at club/regional levels. impending cuts are handled through conference calls just prior to actually speaking with associates being let go. They're not going to risk a large number of people having advanced knowledge, especially if they don't want info and numbers to reach the media. Only exceptions are when they are restructuring and changing number of mgt or team leader staff, etc. and announce that positions will have to be reapplied for.
