Amazon and Nike are totally different biz models. This is why the pilot with Nike and Amazon is not going super well right now.

No....look at the very public documents on how PHK originally structured the company and how it was updated a few years ago, per his Estate Planning...making Merger or Acquisition impossible. It's a good thing or these sad events would have happened even more frequently.
Average lifespan of an Amazon employee is literally 18 months. They burn you out, and you move on.
Amazon is a horrible company to work for if you need to have any kind of work-life-balance...
If you are 22 and hungry for quick career growth that's a really good place to be at right now...
