Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Taking credit for somebody else's work

There’s nothing more infuriating than someone taking credit for your work. I see this more and More We lead a long overdue project to completion and our boss tells the higher-ups it was his doing. How should you handle these situations? Is it okay to speak up right then and there? Or should you keep quiet? And how can you make sure that you get the credit you deserve in the future?

So much this, @OMMkHKt-evph. Same thing is happening at my JPMorgan Chase location, only we know that saying anything will only put our jobs in jeopardy. You are right, it's infuriating, but not much we can do about it, unfortunately.

Search under Harvard business review a pretty good article that might help you if not this time but the next time.

Just amplifies the level of desperation.

There's always some bad mgr that likes to take credit for others work.

No one cares on the upper levels who gets the work as long as it gets done.

There needs to be a complete 180 degree change in corporate attitude but there is no incentive to change.

Why change they benefit from stock manipulation for their packages.

No one willingly gives up power.

You're fighting the tide, get a life preserver you're going to need it.
