Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Why are they breaking up these layoffs like this?

For the ones remaining, morale is destroyed or they are in the actively job hunting process.

So unless the end game is no more (or just a handful) of PHC's in 2018, why continue to harm morale and promote attrition? Why not get all the layoffs over at once? I know there are business reasons, it just doesn't look like there is any good end game here for PHC's.

I don't think morale / retention are priorities. I mean, it is clear they are not. Why purposely let morale go down the tubes? Yeah, you are right - no way this year ends good for for PHC's.

If you are a PHC, I'm sure you've come to terms by now with the reality that this is not your forever job, or even your 2018 job at this point.
