North American

Do you think most of North America WHQ will go? Then global will just work directly with territories?

WHQ is, and always will be, the epicenter of all decisions, thinking they are/know better than the territories. It's corporate headquarters! It's been this way as far as I can remember, like late 1990's. There's always been talk about needing to listen to the territories, the country managers, blah, blah, blah. Nothing ever changes. Don't expect it ever will change, It's corporate headquarters! WHQ = Worldwide Headquarters. Of course it's center of the Nike universe.

I was not thinking of dissing North America it just seemed a logical move since they want to be more relevant in the territories going through world headquarters always slows everything down

Not so fast. NA WHQ has essentially been the scapegoat for out-of-touch global product teams.....be careful what you wish for.

@xil exactly - they really need to put NA WHQ in check (right now, they are doing whatever they wish) - I have no doubt that this will happen this time - this is a rare opportunity to clean things up

No but I know a lot of people are hoping this brings NA more in line with global instead of thinking they are/know better and doing what they want that is not approved
