How come the people who were laid off were NOT acknowledged via any social media, especially TV, NEWS? Why is it we see and hear of other companies, such as ex: 350 Gymboree stores closing recently all over the news, twitter, ect, because of bankruptcy or other reasons but were all forgotten, as if all never existed? Not wanting the fame, but want the real reasons WHY?, not something they just made up to be thrown under the bus, the same week they hired others, were told by the managers the company owes over 1 MILLION DOLLARS, are in debt, yet are still in business. That's right, AMAZON was making the stores sales go down, excuses, they were really not staffing the floor, had customers complaining and managers constantly accommodating them. Makes you think, why weren't they let go, instead of us, yet they are still running the stores. They let go of the hard working ones only to keep the ones they don't know who are really working for them, the ones who will and have lied to keep their jobs.

Toys R Us is in 5 billion of debt, not million.
And there are articles online all the time about Toys R Us and other retailers getting whipped by Amazon. Grocery thought they were safe but Amazon just bought grocery infrastructure by purchasing Whole Foods with CASH.
Point being, retail is dead. ESPECIALLY speciality retailers. The "direct to consumer" model is disrupting every type of retail. And I understand the pain of feeling unnoticed but most people know that retail closings and layoffs are normal now. There's no shock value. Get out while you can.
