Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Curious if the OP had her meeting today? The person she said the meeting was with was offline most of the day. Perhaps it was just a meeting for management to get their ducks in a row first or simply meant to scare us. We are already on edge. For this post to say ALL PHCs and RSs is a huge exaggeration. I doubt they will replace us all. It is not a CMS requirement for PHCs to be licensed

Maybe all these meetings are about 2.0 / Live Healthy, healthcare services realignment. I worry we are all making ourselves sick over what could be nothing related to layoffs.

Are PHC coaches in this meeting?

All COMS, directors and SS, CHE coaches appear to be in a meeting right now.

Anybody know why all the coaches coms and directors are back in a meeting?

It supposedly was an LTIH leader. That leader should be fairly easy to figure out if you know the LTIH teams.

Ask your coach?!? Good one. You'll just get the robot answer they have been programmed for. "I don't know anything more than you do and I'll share as soon as possible if and when there is news to share." Not buying it. I guess we just keep waiting. Who is the leader who allegedly spoke about this in the group meeting?

Has anyone come right out and asked their coach. A lack of response might answer the question of they might give a hint.

I think she was being honest. Today was probably a meeting to plan for the cuts. Not sure why LH would be involved. She is not under MF at all and has been offline for a while now.

I still think if anything is going to happen it will be the beginning of Aug.

I'm surprised that such highly confidential information would be openly discussed in a meeting of peers.

My guess is prep meeting, since nothing has happened yet. Obviously the 12:30 meeting referenced in another thread is not happening.

Any PHC's whose coaches are NOT in a meeting? Is this an every Thursday event?

All of our SH coaches are in a meeting, but that could just be there Thursday thing,

It looks like the Stay Healthy and At Risk coaches and COM's are in a meeting right now.

All SS Coaches/COMs are in a meeting, but I think they regularly meet on Thursdays.

Hard to concentrate on work today

They seem to be getting smarter about this so probably right before the meeting they will send it out. They like to just drop bombs on us. I wish the coaches who monitor this site would have the guts to tell us what's going on. Out of all the coaches between PHCs, HCMs and CHEs, there are too many for management to figure out who the whistleblower is. Man up and help us out! You don't even have to say you are a coach. Tell us You have it on good authority just stop hiding this from us. Wouldn't you want some advanced notice! Treat us with respect and like the professionals we are!

Can anyone share what time these invites usually go out? Will someone log in tomorrow to find the email already waiting in their inbox or do they send it after everyone has had a chance to log in?

So much stress!! I am thankful though to have a head's up so I can brace for tomorrow. So much for no more layoffs! Why lie so much to us? You know it's to get maximum work out of us out of fear of losing our jobs. You can't tell me they didn't know this all along! How unethical! I am angry frustrated and scared. Too many of us PHCs all looking for work and there really is nothing out there unless you are a nurse.

The OP stated PHCs and RSs. Are Those the only roles? I have a couple CHE friends who are very worried.

OP, will this layoff also include more CHEs? I don't understand why the meeting is with LH. She is not over the PHCS or RSs.

I appreciate you, OP!! Any information we can get around here is gold. Curious if your leader indicated all PHCs and RSs would be affected?? And does that mean LTIH is joing HCCP and SH In the new LH?

I made the original post. I'm not a liar and certainly I don't want top drink bleach. I was only trying to be informative. I work in LTIH and we had a meeting today where our manager told us an invite would be coming out for a meeting tomorrow with LH. Look up sr leadership in HAH and you can figure out who that is. She went on to say that Humana 2.0 will be announced and that will include layoffs of phc's and referral specialists. The meeting is at 12:30. In the past they've informed people of the layoffs in the morning and then made the announcement around noon in a meeting. I hope my manager is wrong, but that's exactly what was said.

It's probably MF , getting everyone riled.... hang in there people. Solidarity... don't let them take it.

Most of us are in this together, last poster, there are always exceptions but most if us are. There have been times I was tempted to post about the depression, anxiety I've been feeling these past few months but I haven't, figuring that I would hear that this site is "just for layoff updates," or "so go get another job."(I'm looking). So I never posted. But I know most of us are in the same boat, and this has been a tough, tough year.

I feel like a layoff makes sense for upper management ... The goal is more money in their pockets with less overhead. I want to feel like everyone on here is in this together.... I'm here for information and support.

After the last layoffs in April I heard there would be more layoffs in a month or so. I guess the person may have known what they were talking about. So here we are three months later bracing ourselves.

You are right, last poster, that we all could be kinder. There was an earlier poster on another thread with a "doomsday, we were all let go" hoax post earlier that made us all cynical (justifiably).

Granted, this could be another hoax and really does sound like it, but yeah - we all could benefit from more kindness.

The last 2 layoffs happened on a Thursday. Why would the wait to get ride of phc's they don't need????? Use common sense. Rosters are not near full, they are not enrolling new members. They are wasting money on us. They will keep a small # of phcs to fit into love healthy to basically be referral specialists. Also treat others with dignity and respect. Your only bringing bad karma on yourself telling the poster to go drink bleach or saying they're a lier be kind. For all you know it's a higher up trying to be kind and give a heads up so you don't flip out when you lose your job tomorrow. Good luck to everyone tomorrow and always. Life's a gamble and we never know what the next hand will deal.

Everyones rosters arent full, and members will be graduati g qho sont meet live healthy cba scores, members in luve healthy can graduate out if program... So there will be layoffs... Its just when and who....
