I'm enraged that the spam filter on my (Sears) office computer now prevents Rocky and Bullwinkle streaming video. I usually watched that hilarity two or three hours each day.
Now, I'll need to get my kicks throughout the day by laughing at the morons who post on the (Sears) Pebble site. Sears is really pushing my buttons, now!
I might quit, but the leftovers in the Lunch Room refrigerator actually keeps me here. If only more Tuna sandwiches were brought in..... sigh.
I share your work ethic. I come to the office late every day and watch my colleagues scrambling to impress the boss with perceptions of value. Fools. After a couple of cups of coffee and reading a few news websites, I might generate a report or graph showing how valuable I am. So ironic that the real workers are the first to get the hatchet. Oh well... I still get a paycheck and haven't worked more that 38 hours in any given week in over 15 years. Try it... you just might like it. Life is too short to worry about office politics or productivity.

Why would you choose a precarious and anxious situation that may leave your family in jeopardy when you can go elsewhere? Why wouldn't you take control of your life? Because you are dumb, weak and talentless. You spend all your time looking for the slightest clues about layoffs when you can end the suffering by getting another job. You obviously don't succeed in life.
Your life is going backwards. Reach for something better than unemployment.

Anyone sitting around doing nothing is lazy and and should be fire without compensation or unemployment.
Seems like many of Sears employees are uneducated and lack a good work ethic. No wonder they are still hanging around, complaining and not working. The talented ones have already left Sears; the remaining ones are dumb and desperate. This stupidity and complacency is why an iconic business became so pathetic.
Enjoy slacking off, then collecting unemployment later.

This is why sears is failing, its this attitude. You can have a visionary leader, a great product and many great team members, but it only takes a few bad apples to spoil the bunch.
Yet some will get on here and blame Eddie or the man on the moon, but never these "team" members who contribute nothing but a terrible attitude.
