Yes layoffs are still occurring. Asst auto center manager position was eliminated last week from model 1-2 stores. Next on the chopping block is the BSC position.

If no more layoffs , thats good. Hopefully they use that 200 million to possibly offer buyouts to us long term associates with pensions to get out from under the pensions there always talking about

There were layoffs yesterday in the field and more to come. The Sears people will be gone and KMart field associates will take there place. Several gone this past week and no job placement offered, just here's your severance package and good bye ...
No. Mr loser popcorn was not prophetic with his predictions. Told everyone here 400! Layoffs at Hoffman on Tuesday "get your popcorn ready!" NOTHING HAPPENED. Then said it would be later in the week NOTHING HAPPENED. Ignore everything that person says as they clearly have anterior motives.
I heard yesterday that next week is supposed to be a bunch of layoffs at Hoffman. Didn't hear an exact number but they are supposedly coming next week.

Wow I don't see this at all as far as this "popcorn" person giving us anything additional for this week. We all knew there would be additional layoffs...it's just a matter of when. I saw some crazy numbers being thrown out there for this week that I don't think happened. Were 300-400 associates laid off in the field? If so, I haven't heard about it. The company is going to be smaller. Some associates will benefit and some will not. For the delivery/installation guys, good for them with the additional business Amazon will bring.

They all laughed at Noah when he tried to shed light on what was coming. Everyone was thinking " oh its just a passing shower, it will clear up", as the sky continued to grow darker. LOL
