Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Mid Years going on right now

Does anyone have any insight to how they think mid-years are going? Like, are you seeing yourself put in a "block 5" or below, when you know you shouldn't? Has anyone received anything higher at this point?

Everyone moaning again. Everyone should start the year in a block 5. Then as the year progresses you either stay there or move up or down depending on performance and behaviors. I'm thinking a lot of people s--- on behaviors, as they spend a lot of time whining on the internet.

It should have been clear to all that everyone is a block 5 this mid-year, it was said in a town hall due to the new behaviors being rolled out. Do I like it, no.

I've also only been a block 5, once in my career, so over the next 5 months, I'm expecting my work to speak for itself and I move up. We will see.

Yeh. I'm an "old-timer" who has had only 1 or 2 box 5s in my career and not for a long time, and was told by my manager that I was a box 5 but had a "chance" of getting to 2. Sure. This is just another way to demoralize workers, quietly push us out and reduce merit increases (if there are any). Don't worry Honeywell, message received, decision made, and the door won't hit me on the way out.

Exactly right. Everybody is in a 5 block. Employees with experience are not valued at all. Lots of young people and H1 visas walking around Corp MTO.

Everyone is in the 5 block. I've been here for 35 years and they don't view people with experience as having any value to the company.. just want to hire young people that need safe spaces. Maybe they will provide them with playdough and teddy bears. Sick

But if you are not currently meeting expectations then you should be told explicitly and exactly what the issues are that need improvement.

I asked what mine would be at this point. Not sure how honest the response was.

Correct, we didn't get a block rating this time. Guess it is better to blindside at the end of the year

Block ratings are not discussed in the mid years.
