I took the ERP last year with zero regrets. I've been talking to some of the survivors and it's a tripled workload with 50% less people. The client roadmap has exploded with so many fewer people it's a losing proposition that will make people sick.

Lol, our team was told by our incompetent angry manager in our team meeting to play with the wellnomics settings, too, so that we don't show up on the reports. What a joke! Your working too hard, figure out a way to lie to the system so that nobody knows! What a joke! Just like the other tools, they are using the tools to track, monitor, and micro manage you....to death!
Go to Apple... work hard get more pay
I left Intel without the REP, found a job before I left. Couldn't handle 70 hours per week for 5 months with no end in site. Actual had to send an apology to my GL and area manager due to my ergo risk was high. Of course, my GL told me there are ways to fix this by turning off the wellness program, but I never heard it from her. What a joke. When I gave my two week notice, I was told they could fix the long hours and begged me to stay. Fix the level 1 and level 2 BS task forces along with all the on-call nightly calls due to getting rid of the shift engineers.
Three other engineers told me they were leaving, and have left. Got a call from another engineer asking if I could get them a job where I am now due to the reasons so mentioned above. The pay is good, but can only last for several months before people get burned out.
@1pmm - total bs..
so many products per head that 8 or 20 hours per day won't doesn't matter anymore. Criminal or comical at this point.
Intel is overstaffed to death. Seems OP's friends are those who like to get credit for someone else's work.
Intel values for 2017: work people to death do they want to leave and if they don't, tell them they are lucky to have a job.
It's a very toxic cut throat environment. Management is scared that they are next so they are doing their best to make themselves look even better so when the cuts come it's not them, it's the other managers that they continuously make look bad. Keep your nose clean, no matter how much you shine, one flicker and you are gone, even though it isn't your flicker, it's some other a-hole saying you had a flicker.
